Prior to joining Breast Imaging Center, Dr. LoRusso served as faculty at the University of Virginia. He has practiced in all areas of diagnostic radiology with special emphasis on Women's Imaging and Thoracoabdominal Imaging. He served as Head of Mammography Quality Assurance at the University of Virginia. He has authored numerous publications on breast imaging and resident education and has lectured extensively on these topics. Dr. LoRusso served as Chief Resident at UNM from January 2000 to December 2000, and was selected as Resident of the Year in 2000. Dr. LoRusso is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Breast Imaging and the American Society of Breast Disease. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Society. Dr. LoRusso primarily practices in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
